The scholarship was created in memory of Michael C. Mellema and is designed to support graduating seniors of Gull Lake High School who will attend full-time at a Michigan college, preferably Western Michigan University or Ferris State University. Applicants must pursue one of the following areas of study: Engineering & Applied Science, Paper & Print Science, Graphic Design, Printing Management & Marketing or Art & Design.
