- Judging Criteria:Recipients will be chosen on the basis of high moral character

- Essay:A one-page essay introducing yourself to the selection committee, including your involvement in marching band and/or color guard, how your participation in marching band/color guard has made you into the person you are today, and your plans for your future
- Recommendation Letters:One letter of recommendation from the Band Director or Color Guard Director
- Other Materials:All applicants must submit one high-quality, color head shot (shoulders and up). A professional senior photo is preferred. HCCF reserves the right to request additional photos if the submitted photo is not acceptable. *Please note, if you are selected as a scholarship recipient this photo will be used in HCCF publications
