The scholarship was created in memory of Laurie Makin Cartwright. It is open to all graduating seniors of Gull Lake High School who are planning to enroll in college as a full-time student. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 and must be a four-year participant in Gull Lake High School Band or PAC.
