  • Essay:
    In a typed personal essay on a separate sheet of paper, the applicant should discuss his/her career goals in the area(s) of journalism, publishing, marketing or business must be received with the scholarship application.
  • Recommendation Letters:
    Confidential Recommendation Letter Submit one Confidential Recommendation Letter. The letter may be from a recent teacher, coach, employer, or guidance counselor. It may be mailed to the Foundation or given to the student in a sealed envelope to be included with the application.
  • Other Materials:
    The applicant must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Please attach a copy of the FAFSAs Student Aid Report (SAR) to your scholarship packet and Official Enrollment Verification Form with Stamp/Seal (Once enrolled full-time for Fall Semester at a College/University or Career Technical School).
