This scholarship was established to honor the life-long commitment and care that John A. Tooley has demonstrated toward children and adults with developmental disabilities. It is open to all graduating high school seniors or high school graduates of Wayne County who are pursuing a career in the field of Special Education or Developmental Disabilities.

- Major/Career:Must be pursuing a career in the field of Special Education or Developmental Disabilities
- Extracurricular:Must demonstrate a commitment to community service with an emphasis on services to children and adults with disabilities.
