Joan Murphy Scholarship was established by William (Ted) Murphy as a surprise to his wife Joan. The scholarship honors Joan's 27 years of teaching career. The scholarship is provided tp graduating high school seniors of Franklin Community High School. The awardee must be pursuing a major in education to be eligible.
