This scholarship was established by Susan Juhl in honor of her husband, Jerry. Susan and Jerry were residents of Mendocino County community of Caspar who supported local artists and arts organizations in countless ways. This scholarship aims to benefit Mendocino, Fort Bragg, and Point Arena High School seniors or graduates pursuing study in performing arts (music, dance, theatre, film, and puppetry) and design (sound, lighting, set, and costume).
