Hudiburg Family Scholarship
Oklahoma City Community Foundation
Established at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation in 2005, the scholarship is given to graduating seniors of the Mid-Del District high schools and technology center. Applicants must have been enrolled in the Mid-Del District schools for the two full academic years prior to graduation and have a cumulative high school GPA 3.0.

- Essay:Please write an essay in which you share information about yourself and your goals: (a) Who and how did someone inspire you to continue your education? (b) Describe a defining moment in your life, and if it was a negative experience, how did you turn it around? (c) Describe a high school classroom activity or assignment that was challenging and gave you a feeling of mastery when completed. (d) Write about an adult you have met through an extracurricular activity who prompted you to consider a career or profession like theirs. Please include reference to your academic/career goals, as well as your extracurricular involvements if applicable. (500 word maximum.); Why do you want to be a recipient of the Hudiburg Family Scholarship? Your statement should include your proposed college major, your career goal, and the influence of your educational experience in the Mid-Del Schools on your decision. (Please limit to 500 words.)
- Recommendation Letters:Please submit the name and email address of someone--teacher/professor, guidance counselor, principal, community leader, or employer--who can submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf. The person you request a letter from should be able to speak to your abilities and capacity in the areas of education, leadership and community service.
