The scholarship is created as a memorial for Howard E. Charles, Jr. It is open to all graduating high school senior, undergraduate student or graduate student who are pursuing studies within the field of health care in an accredited two-year college, four-year college or university, professional/trade/vocational school, or graduate school. Applicant must be a resident of St. Charles School District 303 located in DuPage County and northern Kane County.
