Hawaii Community Foundation
The scholarship was established by the collaboration of the Board of the Hokuli'a Foundation and Hawai'i Community Foundation to provide financial assistance to students who are pursuing a degree in healthcare, education or social work in an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US and who are demonstrating an emphasis in advancing Native Hawaiian culture.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Undergraduate or Graduate student
- Minimum GPA:2.70
- Financial Need:Required
- Other Academic Requirements:Attend as a full-time student (as determined by your schools financial aid office)
- Residence:Resident of the State of Hawaii; Resident of North or South Kona
- College:Attend an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US
- Major/Career:Plan to study in the fields of Healthcare, Education, or Social Work
- Miscellaneous:Preference is given to students demonstrating an emphasis in advancing Native Hawaiian culture

- Essay:In a separate essay, elaborate on your community service and describe how your future career may benefit the lives of Hawaii residents and/or advance Native Hawaiian culture upon completion of your education.
