Health Professions Scholarship Program

Central Colorado Area Health Education Center

This program was established to award a two-year scholarship to enrolled graduate level Health Professions students. Funds are used as payment for a significant portion of the student's education. This scholarship is open to enrolled nurse practitioners(NP), Physician Assistants (PA), and Behavioral Health Students, and other types of graduate level medical degrees. Applicants must agree to practice in a rural and/or under-served community upon completion of training for a minimum of 2-years in Colorado.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age/Grade Level:
    Be enrolled/accepted either at least half-time or full-time in a graduate level health professional program (Master's or Doctorate degree).
  • Financial Need:
    Not Required
  • College:
    Be enrolled in an accredited Colorado institution of higher education. Online programs may be acceptable as long as the home institution is accredited in the State of Colorado
  • Major/Career:
    Enrolled nurse practitioners(NP), Physician Assistants (PA), and Behavioral Health Students, and other types of graduate level medical degrees.
  • Miscellaneous:
    Agree to practice in a rural and/or under served community upon completion of training for a minimum of 2-years in Colorado.
