The family of Harold Schmid created this scholarship in 2015 to benefit students who graduated from high school while in Oklahoma Department of Human Services custody. Students must be planning to attend or currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited school. Applicants attending a vocational, technical or trade school may be given preference.
