Community Foundation of the Verdugos
This scholarship was established to benefit graduating seniors from a Glendale Unified School District high school or Glendale-area private high school or Allan F. Daily Continuation High School. Applicants must have Latino Heritage and must be planning to attend a two or four-year college/university or a technical training institution in any field of study.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Graduating from a Glendale Unified School District high school or Glendale-area private high school or Allan F. Daily Continuation High School.
- Financial Need:Required
- School:Graduating from a Glendale Unified School District high school or Glendale-area private high school or Allan F. Daily Continuation High School.
- College:Enrolled at a College/University or Career Technical School
- Ethnicity:Student must have Latino Heritage
- Extracurricular:Special consideration will be given to a student who provides community service.
- Miscellaneous:Awardees will be expected to attend CFVs Scholarship Recognition Event in May 2016

- Essay:A personal essay on the students Latino Heritage as well as the importance of education
- Recommendation Letters:Confidential Recommendation Letter Submit one Confidential Recommendation Letter. The letter may be from a recent teacher, coach, employer, or guidance counselor. It may be mailed to the Foundation or given to the student in a sealed envelope to be included with the application
- Other Materials:- A completed application- ACT and/or SAT Scores)- 2016-2017 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) & Student Aid Report (SAR)- Official Enrollment Verification Form with Stamp/Seal (Once enrolled full-time for Fall Semester at a College/University or Career Technical School)
