Future Teachers Scholarship Program aims to address the shortages of teachers in the public schools of Oklahoma. The program was established by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. The scholarship provides funds ranges to $500 to $1,500 to cover education costs.

Eligibility Requirements

    The applicant must a be a high school graduate or undergraduate student.

    15%
  • Other Academic Requirements:
    The applicant must score at or above the eighty-fifth (85th) percentile on the ACT or other similar acceptable battery of tests. Either full- or part-time students may be eligible; however, highest priority will be given to full-time students.
  • Residence:
    The applicants must be residents of Oklahoma.
  • College:
    The applicant must be admitted at an accredited Oklahoma institution of higher education.
  • Major/Career:
    The awardee must be pursuing a professional education program fulfilling the critical teacher shortage areas.
