Amarillo Area Foundation (AAF), Inc.
Fred Woodward Endowed Scholarship is exclusively offered to children of dues paying members of the Texas Seed Trade Association and members of the Seed Division of the Texas Department of Agriculture. The scholarship was established in memory of Fred Woodward by the Texas Seed Trade Association. The program provides funds of $1,000 to graduating high school seniors and college students.

Eligibility Requirements

- Citizenship:The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen (or legal permanent resident).
- Organization:The scholarship is restricted to children of dues paying members of the Texas Seed Trade Association (active and associate) and members of the Seed Division of the Texas Department of Agriculture.

- Recommendation Letters:Two (2) letters of recommendation - one letter should be from a teacher you had in high school and the second letter should be from a pastor, employer, coach, mentor, etc. Letters written by family members are not permitted.
- Other Materials:Applicant must submit their proof of U.S. Citizenship (photocopy of U.S. birth certificate) or legal permanent residency status, ACT and/or SAT scores (if scores appear on the back of your high school transcript, no additional documents are necessary), page one (1) of current year IRS tax Form 1040 for household (if current year is not available, previous year will be accepted).
