    Must be a U.S. citizen (or permanent resident)

    Accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Major/Career:
    Occupational health and safety related program
  • Miscellaneous:
    Enrolled in at least 12 units.
  • Other Benefits:
    Under no circumstances shall more than $1000 be awarded.Relatives, employees (prior or current) or Families of Enviro Safety or directly affiliated companies are not eligable. *All essay's submitted become the property of Enviro Safety Products and may be used in entirety or part for any reason.**If 12 submissions from individual students are not received, the scholarship will be prorated based upon the number of submissions. For example, if only 6 students submit, 50% of the scholarship would be paid out. ***Scholarship can be used to pay for books & tuition and receipts must be submitted for reimbursement.

Application Details

  • Judging Criteria:
    The scholarship is awarded based on the applicants knowledge and understanding of the importance of workplace safety. One Winner will be chosen from all submissions based upon the following criteria:Grammar & SpellingRelevancy of Essay to Safety Industry & Enviro SafetyQuality of contentGPAJudging will be performed by the VP of Marketing & Technology of Enviro Safety.

  • Essay:
    Submit a one-page cover letter, consisting of a brief statement of approximately 250-300 words, describing your accomplishments, career goals and importance of proper safety and health practices in the workplace. Additionally, write a two page brief discussing the usefulness and importance of a specific kind of safety product(s) in the work environment. Suggested subjects include:Noise Induced Hearnig Loss (NIHL)Respiratory ProtectionDisposable Clothing & HazMat SuitsGloves & Hand ProtectionEye & Vision ProtectionPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)OSHA Regulations pertaining to PPEYour brief should include links to appropriate sections on the envirosafetyproducts.com website, OSHA or the CDC where appropriate.
