Eleanor Tillquist Scholarship Fund

Ventura County Community Foundation

Established by George and Eleanor Tillquist, this scholarship is given to a deserving youth pursuing a degree in the medical field. To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of the City of Ventura, currently enrolled in Ventura College, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and must demonstrate financial need, and show significant community service.

    Applicants must demonstrate significant community service

    There are specific prompts during the application process. VCCF selection committees consider student essays as narrative pictures of applicants. Essays must be a total of 500-700 words overall.
