Mr. and Mrs. Cleve J. Francoeur, Sr. established the Dr. Cleve James Francoeur, Jr. Memorial Scholarship in memory of their son. Dr. Francoeur was a doctor in dermatology who practiced in Bartholomew and Jackson counties. In 2007, he passed away due to an automobile accident. This scholarship is open to freshmen and upperclassmen at the Indiana University School of Medicine who graduated from a Bartholomew or Jackson county high school.
