The scholarship was created to honor our soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while ensuring our continued freedom by supporting their children in working towards a bright future through higher education. Applicants must be dependent son or daughter of a soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or Guardsman who was killed or permanently disabled (100% VA disability rating) in the line of duty. Preference is given to those students who permanently resides in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, or Ohio.

  • Military:
    Must be the dependent son or daughter of a soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or Guardsman who was killed in the line of duty
  • Disability:
    Must be the dependent son or daughter of permanently disabled (100% VA disability rating) in the line of duty
  • Miscellaneous:
    Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
