The scholarship was established by the medical staff of Centerpoint Medical Center to benefit its employees and their families who are pursuing degrees in the human healthcare fields. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 during the last four semesters of study and have demonstrated participation in community service and/or employment activities.
