- Age/Grade Level:Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates or be current postsecondary undergraduates or graduate level students
- Minimum GPA:2.75
- Financial Need:Required
- Residence:Students living in a Congressional Black Caucus district
- College:Who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
- Major/Career:Who plan to continue their education in the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, nutrition or another health-related field
- Ethnicity:Provides scholarships for African-American or black students
