Brand Boeshaar Scholarship

Community Foundation of the Great River Bend

This scholarship was named after William Brand Boeshaar, Lillian Brands nephew who passed away at a young age while he was studying art at St. Ambrose University. Her nephews love of art led to a perpetual gift for young artists in the Quad City area. This scholarship is funded by the Brand Boeshaar Foundation Fund, managed by the Figge Education Department, and administered by the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend. This is open to graduating seniors in eastern Iowa and western Illinois who wish to study fine arts, design or art education in college.
