Bob and Evie Florence Memorial Scholarship Fund is provided to students who plans to major in Music. The $1,000 fund is given to an awardee who graduated or a graduating senior at any Ventura County or Los Angeles County high school. The program aims to support a student in pursuing college at a public or private accredited 4-year college or university.

    Applicant must have graduated or will graduate from any high school in Ventura County or Los Angeles County.
  • College:
    The awardee must plan to enroll in a public or private accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Major/Career:
    The scholarship is open to students who plan to pursue Music as their college major.

  • Essay:
    Applicant must write an essay of 500 to 700 words on the topic: Explain how this award will help you continue your education in music and discuss why you want to continue your music education.
  • Recommendation Letters:
    Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation where at least one from current faculty, both signed and dated within six months of the application deadline, and neither from a relative.
  • Other Materials:
    Applicants must submit their completed 2016 VCCF Financial Aid Worksheet.
